What to Expect During a Pediatric Eye Exam
Children’s eyes aren’t just “smaller versions” of adult eyes – they are actively developing, and their visual systems are constantly learning and adapting. During a pediatric eye exam, our doctors will:

When Should Your Child Be Tested?
Children should have their eyes examined starting in infancy and continue regularly throughout childhood. We recommend scheduling pediatric eye exams:

Every 1–2 years after age 3

Whenever vision concerns arise, such as squinting, eye rubbing, headaches, or difficulty reading

Dr. Bennet and her staff are so wonderful. My previous doctor at the office passed away so this was my first visit with her. She and her friendly staff are so kind and so helpful. Barbara the tech also had me on a waiting list and called throughout the week to get me in before I move. Which is unheard of. Offices can be intimidating and stuffy. The stares from staff members or just out right complaining about their jobs while patients are in the waiting room seems to be the new norm.
